Warhammer 40,000 is currently the most popular miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop. It is particularly popular in Britain. This miniature wargame enacts the battles through the use of miniature models and fighting vehicles. It is played on a tabletop battlefield model composes of hills, buildings, terrain, and trees. Every player will get the chance to move their model warriors across the battlefield, pretending that they are fighting against their opponent’s warriors. The fights of these warriors are resolved through the use of simple arithmetic and dice.
This game is set in the distant future in which the human civilization is having problems with supernatural creatures and aliens. The models used in the game are aliens, monsters, humans, futuristic weapons, and magical powers. There are also spin-off games out of the original Warhammer 40,000.
