Easter is a fun and exciting celebration for both kids and adults. It started as a religious celebration of Jesus’ rising after 3 days which is why religious people celebrate Easter Sunday after a week of mourning. Each year the Easter Sunday changes dates but the celebration remains the same. Did you know that the Easter Sunday date is determined depending on the first Sunday of the first full moon after the vernal equinox that is the mark of the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. No matter what date it lands on it still calls for a big celebration with friends and family. One familiar tradition is the celebration of Easter with Easter Bunnies and eggs. Chocolates and other food items such as candies and bread in the shape of the Easter Bunny and Easter eggs are given away as presents and as a display for the Easter table. Plenty of bunnies and eggs for decoration symbolizes new life and it is used throughout the season. There are Easter bunny mascots and Easter egg hunt for kids. This is also celebrated with plenty of food on the table especially that religious people are breaking their week-long fasting from indulgent food.
