Islam is the religion of Muslims and it is known as the second largest religion across the world. The term Islam means “submission to the will of God”. They believe and worship one supreme God known as Allah. Muslims believe that without Allah’s permission, nothing will happen. They also believe that there are prophets sent to preach Allah’s law. These prophets are Abraham, Noah, Moses and also Jesus. Muhammad is also said to be the last prophet.
Islam has been rapidly spreading ever since the death of Muhammad. Several successors were also proclaimed as leaders or caliphs, mostly related to Muhammad.
