Veganism is a vegetarian diet wherein the person only eats eggs, meat, dairy products, and other animal-derived ingredients. Most vegans also refuse to eat processed animal products, wines, and white sugar.
When talking about vegans, they are people who are following this strict eating habit and diet. There are also vegans that extend the definition of veganism beyond food. They also avoid using products, household or personal, that are being tested on animals. They also avoid buying items that are animal-derived such as wool, leather, and fur.
Vegans only consume certain products such as fruits, grains, vegetables, beans, and legumes. Since veganism is widely practiced nowadays, vegan versions of products are also available such as vegan cheese, hot dogs, ice cream, yogurt, mayonnaise, burgers, and other similar food.
